Nominating Petition for Download

The Libertarian Party of New York has a single petition for all of its statewide candidates, including me (for NYS AG). We need at least 15,000 NYS voter signatures to get on the ballot for the November 2, 2010 election. Please download the petition for signing between July 6, 2010 and August 17, 2010. www.carlperson4NYAG.com/nominatingpetition.pdf

If you can, please get other persons to sign the petition, although the petition can have anywhere from 1 to 10 Signers.

Each Signer must be a NYS registered voter residing anywhere in NYS. The Nominating Petition must also be signed at the bottom, under "Statement of Witness", by "a duly qualified voter of the State of New York" (i.e., the Witness must be someone other than the Signer). All of the Signers on the sheet must have signed in front of the same Witness.

Please help me and the Libertarian Party elect our slate of candidates to get NYS and your own community on the road to economic and political recovery. As your Attorney General, you will see changes, because the NYS Attorney General has the power to do what I promise. I would not need any approvals from the Governor or any legislative leader. In other words, the NYS Attorney General is the one elected official who can deliver on his/her campaign promises.
