Most people who want (and are able) to work can be gainfully employed, but your elected officials won't use their power to make this happen because of the adverse effect it would have on their major campaign contributors.

The NYS Attorney General has the power to create gainful employment for New Yorkers (with an unemployment rate below 5%). This can (and should) be done through encouraging and assisting self employment and small business. The nation cannot have everyone employed either by government or by major corporations. They are not the creators of sustainable jobs. Small business and self employment have always been the engines driving our economy, even though the government provides little or no help to them. With my assistance, as NYS Attorney General, we can create full employment through development of self employment and small business. Look at my proposals to see how I plan to do this.
